Walt Disney Television System Training & Workflow Manager - Part Time, ABC News in New York, New York
ABC News is looking for a part-time System Training and Workflow Manager with strong leadership experience. This person will be responsible for the development of training for the Post Production support team on existing and new computer systems being implemented in our production environment. The candidate will construct and document best practices for the support team, create and maintain a training and support document library, work with support managers to review workflow needs and track training metrics.
Provide course development, delivery, evaluation, process measurements and cost management.
Administers methods for gathering and tracking training metrics.
Coaches, trains and motivates staff
Understands broadcast technologies and key skills needed by support teams.
Understands workflow, production goals and reports used to drive business efficiencies by reacting quickly to key priorities.
Establish objectives and work plans based on project assignments.
Manages the workflow and prioritization of projects.
Evaluates program effectiveness and makes necessary modifications as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications :
This job requires a working knowledge of and skill in information technology, content creation and related project and team management including planning, design, implementation and follow-up. Also required is knowledge of broadcast production and system infrastructure concepts and applicable computer operating systems.
High enthusiasm, integrity, ingenuity, results-orientation, self-motivation, and resourcefulness in a fast-paced competitive environment.
Drives best practices standardization across departments
Required Education :
- Bachelor of Science degree in the electrical, software, or mechanical field or equivalent degree/experience such as technician with 5 – 10 years’ experience.
